Azuma Kako (Japan) was established 73 years ago at Tokyo/Japan as specialist engine component welding repair. Azuma Engineering (S) Pte Ltd was incorporated on 17th February 1990, as first Japanese company in Singapore for diesel engine components reconditioning service industry as 100% owner by Azuma Kako (Japan).

In pursuance to achieve work excellence, the company embarked a plan in 1998 to obtain the prestigious ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification by incorporating and written the company's Quality Manual and its supporting procedures based on the ISO 9001 : 1994. The Work Instructions and other Standard Work Methods are developed in-house with the transfer of technologies and methodologies from Azuma Kako Co., Ltd, Japan. On 11th November 1998 the company was certified as a ISO 9001 Quality Management System company.
